To celebrate Hogmanay 2019 and bring in the New Year in style, Stirling hosted two spectacular events on the iconic Stirling Castle Esplanade. There can be no better place to bring in the New Year with friends and family.

 

 

Stirling's Family Hogmanay Tuesday 31 December

Stirling Castle Esplanade
7:15pm - Gates opened

7:45 pm - 9:00 pm - Scottish broadcaster Jennie Cook hosted live music performances from Dlu and Gemma Lamont under the iconic backdrop of Stirling Castle.


9.00 pm – Spectacular overhead fireworks from the grounds of Stirling Castle. The fireworks at the Family Event are specifically designed for a family audience and were softer and quieter than the later event.

9.10 pm – Event closed


 

Stirling's Hogmanay Tuesday 31 December

10.15 PM Gates opened

10:45 pm - Midnight Scottish broadcaster Jennie Cook hosted live music performances from Stephanie Cheape and Trecherous Orchestra under the iconic backdrop of Stirling Castle.



Midnight – Spectacular fireworks display from the grounds of Stirling Castle. (These fireworks were louder and more impactful than the earlier event and not be suitable for younger children).

12.10 am – Event closed

 

There were also be many other events and activities that took place throughout Stirling on December 31st, including relaxed family ceilidhs at The Tolbooth and the traditional and very popular Albert Halls Hogmanay Ceilidh, with dinner, dancing, entertainment in to the wee small hours.
